The ecoMeter was designed by a technologically aware and environmentally conscious group of young Australian’s in Sydney in 2004.
It reflects a new level of research and development inventiveness that is leading the way in global efforts to empower consumers to be financially and environmentally smart in their energy and water use.
 In 2006 the designers were awarded an Australian engineering excellence award for their efforts.
